Head Coach Nick Quillen was very pleased with how the Lady Mustangs performed to pick up their first district win of the season.
“We are super excited” Quillen said. “We go into every game with the same state of mind no matter who we are playing and did a great job of keeping the ball on our side of the net and putting the pressure on them” Quillen said.
Coach Quillen also knows that there is a quick turnaround tomorrow and to be ready for what’s ahead of the Lady Mustangs.
“Spring Hill always has a tough team,” Quillen said. “They’re a tough team year in and year out. Going to their place and being on the road you don’t know what you’re going to get, unlike a home crowd. You have to step out on the floor ready to play” Quillen said.
Lady Mustangs will be back in action tonight, as they travel to Spring Hill to take on a very competitive Lady Raiders team.
